Cat prices
Adopters residing in the City of Greater Sudbury must purchase a $15 Licence for their new kitty – we supply the collar for free!
Older kittens - 6 mo to 1 year - $95
Young cat - 1 to 2 years - $80
Adult cat - 3 to 4 years - $40
Mature cat - 5 years + - $20
Elder cats and shy cats - no fee; may come with a start up kit.
Our low price includes the spay/neuter, vaccination, deworm and flea-check.
If our elder or shy cats are adopted by a person on a fixed income, we will provide the cat free of charge plus donate a start-up kit of:

cat food and bowls

litter and box and scoop
-
cat bed and toys
-
scratching post or mat.
NOTE: Many of our kitties come from the Shelter and may be carriers of cat flu viruses. If you already have a cat and it did not come from a multi-cat household, you may choose not to adopt from us. If you insist (and we hope you will,) you should keep the cats separate for two weeks.
Small Things CATS rescues cats from the Rainbow District Animal Shelter - the only open admission shelter in the District. Sadly there seems to be no lack of cats, and RDAS is not yet a no-kill shelter for cats.
Generally we try to rescue cats that are:
- Fixed
- Friendly
- Healthy
- Under age 8
And have no behavior problems (such as not using the litter box or aggression.)
The Cat Adoption Team Sudbury also funds spay/neuter surgeries for cats from the shelter and places them up for adoption at Small Things. Donations to our Spay/Neuter Fund or our general expenses fund are greatly appreciated and will help us rescue more cats in need of loving homes.
