Yes, we occasionally take in cats. They must be friendly, fixed, healthy, no behaviour problems and under age 6. Our surrender fee is $75 per cat; $100 for two. Two is our max.
Every day is Adopt-A-Cat-Day at Small Things!
Future Plans: Cat Café
Here are two Cat Cafes in Korea! Cats Living and GeoCat !
We plan - in time - to have Cat Cafes on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm. There will be beverages and sweets and kitties to play with (and adopt too!)
A Little More About the Store
- We donate $25 per month to the Paghman Primary School project in Afghanistan. Paghman, located near the capital Kabul, is a severely underserved district. This newly constructed school provides basic education to 2000 Afghan children. See www.mcc.org/globalfamily
- All products are one-of-a-kind - made by people in your area. Thus you will be shopping locally. All books (other than used) come from small presses – you will be supporting literacy and leading the literary pack.
